This chair began squeaking almost within a few weeks of use. It has squeaked non stop since then. To market this as a NURSERY chair is so beyond ridiculous. The footrest is incredibly difficult to shut; you need to use a lot of your core force (good luck postpartum) and it makes a loud snapping shut sound when closed (your sleeping infant is now awake). The recline feature doesn’t stay reclined unless you actively use your core to push it back (again good luck postpartum). If this hasn’t been a gift that I didn’t receive a gift receipt for, I would have returned immediately.
I was very impressed with the overall quality and comfort of this chair. Even more so that the baby loves when she is being rocked to sleep with it.
Looks great and is comfortable in the seated position. In order to return the legs from the recline position you need to push very hard and slam it, and it makes a loud click. Would likely wake a sleeping baby. The back also doesn’t stay reclined, it constantly springs upward and won’t let you lay back in recline without constantly having to force it back down.
